Flyer Printing
Flyer printing can be a great way to market or advertise your products at a much cheaper cost. This is because the cost of printing of flyers is usually just a small fraction of what an advertisement would cost you. The things you have to consider when choosing a flyer as a marketing tool is the time and place of where you will give the flyers away, as well as the material itself.
Since flyers often come in various sizes and huge quantities, the method used in printing them is offset printing. Offset printing is perhaps the most popular method of high-volume commercial printing. Fortunately, not only does offset printing offer efficiency in production, it also gives an advantage of high quality printing. The more flyers you print with offset printing, the more you save. Ultimately, a page costs you a lot less if you print more since most of the cost you have to pay goes into the preparation that the printer needs to do before they even print the first sheet. Any added quantity of papers to be printed on will only cost you the paper price plus ink, which is just at the very minimum.
Advantages of offset printing
Printing flyers is often used with offset printing since this method gives out consistent high image quality. The images produced here are often clean and sharp images. Clients are often satisfied with the way things work with offset printing since they want their flyers to be of high quality so that their customers can see clearly what their product looks like. Aside from high quality of production, offset printing for flyers is the cheapest way to produce huge quantities of commercial print materials.
The production of printing plates is also easy and quick but other than that, the plates produced usually last a long time since there is actually no direct contact between the printing surface and the plate.
Digital versus Offset
Modern digital printing companies are getting close to the benefit and cost of offset for high quality flyers. However, they have not been able to completely compete with the high volume of production that an offset press can offer. Moreover, many modern offset printing companies are now using computer to plate systems instead of the old computer to film methods, which is actually advantageous in increasing quality.
So if you need to print a huge bulk of flyers, don’t try digital printing because this may cost you much more. Offset printing is always the way to go for high quality and quantity production of print materials.
